What does Esberitox contain?
Esberitox contains extracts from three different herbs—Echinacea, Wild Indigo and Thuja. All of these herbs have an immune-stimulating effect.
How does Esberitox work?
The active chemicals in Esberitox (glycoproteins and polysaccharides) have the ability to attach themselves to the surface of certain cells in the immune system (macrophages). These chemicals then activate the immune system, protecting against infection and shortening the duration of an existing infection. The manufacturers of Esberitox recommend its use in conjunction with an antibiotic, especially for severe bacterial infections. I would endorse this, but as I said earlier, most infections—especially respiratory infections in children—are viral and so, these herbal substances alone would be sufficient.
